#introduction

Hello! ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ ) You can call me lilstarlight, I am in my mid-30s, and I have literally used this user name (and other variants since sometimes it's taken ( ╮(￣▽￣"")╭ ) since the 90s so yeah. My spouse told me about the indie web, and I think I made a website on Neocities that same night, if not the next day. (つ✧ω✧)つ I used to make websites and shrines to my favorite things when I was in middle school through high school and used websites that remind me a lot of this one for blogging, and it wasn't until my husband showed me a video about the indie web that I realized that I really missed this. (´;︵;`) I have had so much fun just coding my new website, and I kept thinking that I wanted to do something like a blog, but I didn't want it on my personal website because I'll probably use these to rant or talk about random stuff. And I want my personal website to basically be a shrine to the things I like and find fun, and not a vent space, if that makes sense. And that's what led me here. °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖° The mood here feels so chill, that the idea of popping in every few days or every few weeks to ramble and maybe check out what others might be up to just sounds like a lot of fun. I can be really awkward, quiet, and reserved, so modern social media is really anxiety inducing to me. (˃̣̣̥︿˂̣̣̥) But replying to comments on a post or a comment in a guestbook? Where I don't feel like I have to respond instantly? That feels nice, and I missed that. ´･ᴗ･` But maybe I should talk about things I like or what I'll be using this for? ʅ(°ヮ°)ʃ First, I LOVE emoticons, and the fact no one uses them anymore makes me sad, so I will use them, and I will use them A LOT. ╰( ⊹o⊹)╮ Tho I do hope they format correctly lol. But yeah, I'm probably going to be here and ramble about things I like, probably videos games, like Monster Hunter (which I am obsessed with right now, it's all I want to play (>▽<) ), otome games, cozy games, and anything else I am playing. I'll probably vent about work a lot because work is stressful and I hate it. (っ´ω｀c) And anything else I feel like rambling about regarding life and hobbies, and if I can have even the shortest conversation about something I like with someone, it'll be a nice bonus. (◡‿◡✿) Speaking of random things I like, I collect water Pokemon cards. Like I want one of every water Pokemon card ever made ＼(｀0´)／ That is not going to happen because some of them are so goddamn expensive I will never be able to afford them... (┛ಠДಠ)┛彡┻━┻ But commons are always cheap, so I hope to get a good chunk of the water cards in my life time. ⊂◉‿◉つ And that's all I got, thanks for reading this far.
