for me it's whatever was autoplaying on somebody's myspace page before you could even see their profile. what's yours, could be a whole genre, could be one specific mp3 you had on a burned cd. playlists welcome too if you've got one.

if we're going straight mid 2000s, it's gotta be something like "dance, dance"/"sugar we're going down" by Fall Out Boy. I feel like those songs lived in my aunt's rotation during highschool lol i was a kid so i wasnt on myspace but id imagine "Daft Punk is Playing at my House" or "Tribulations" by LCD Soundsystem would have been my anthem for sure.
"Angel With a Shotgun", "You're Gonna Go Far, Kid" and the entirety of the Avril Lavigne discography, lol.
